Driver Requirements and Conditions

Any individual driver with an active account on the platform is authorized to publish a ride.

A ride is published and displayed in our search results as long as it meets the following listing conditions:

You are only authorized to publish a rideshare listing if you meet all of the following conditions:

1. You hold a valid driver's license;
2. You only offer rideshare listings for vehicles that you own or that you use with the express authorization of the owner, and in all cases, that you are authorized to use for rideshare purposes;
3. You are and remain the primary driver of the vehicle subject to the rideshare listing;
4. You have no medical contraindications or incapacity to drive;
5. You do not plan to publish another listing for the same rideshare trip on the Platform;
6. You do not offer more seats than those available in your vehicle;
7. All seats offered have a seat belt, even if the vehicle is approved with seats without seat belts;
8. You use a vehicle in perfect working condition and compliant with applicable legal uses and provisions, in particular with an up-to-date vehicle inspection.
9. You are a consumer and do not act in a professional capacity.

Furthermore, we may delist a listing or block your account if you do not comply with our Terms of Service and in particular, in your capacity as a driver, as set out below:

Driver Commitments

In addition, when you use the Platform as a Driver, you commit to:

1. Comply with all laws, rules, and codes applicable to driving and the vehicle and be in possession of a valid driver's license;
2. Take no risks while driving, not consume any product that may alter your attention and abilities, to drive with vigilance and in complete safety;
3. Publish Rideshare Listings corresponding only to trips actually planned;
4. Complete the Rideshare Trip as described in the Rideshare Listing and respect the schedules and locations agreed with other Members;
5. Not take more Passengers than the number of Seats indicated in the Rideshare Listing;
6. Use a vehicle in perfect working condition and compliant with applicable legal uses and provisions, in particular with an up-to-date vehicle inspection.
7. Provide RoadMate or any Passenger who requests it, your driver's license, your insurance certificate, your evidence of a recent vehicle inspection as well as any document attesting to your ability to use this vehicle as a Driver on the Platform;
8. In case of impediment or change of the schedule or the Rideshare Trip, inform your Passengers without delay;
9. Wait for Passengers at the agreed meeting place at least 15 minutes beyond the agreed time;
10. Not publish a Rideshare Listing for a vehicle that you do not own or that you are not authorized to use for rideshare purposes;
11. Not generate any profit through the Platform;
12. Guarantee that you have no medical contraindications or incapacity to drive;
13. Have appropriate and responsible behavior during the Rideshare Trip and in accordance with the spirit of rideshare.
